International conference on "Progress in Weather and Climate Modeling over the Indian Region" will be held at National Centre for Medium Range Weather Forecasting (NCMRWF), Noida (within national capital region of Delhi), India during 9-12 December, 2008 to commemorate 20 years of NCMRWF and 50 years of NWP in India. This conference will take stock of the present status and the future of numerical weather prediction and climate modeling over the Indian region.
