Attri has been felicitated and awarded Commendation Certificate by  the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Dr Manmohan Singh in November, 2007 for his contribution to the work of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change,  which is the Joint Winner of the Nobel Peace Prize for 2007.
