RESEARCH DIVISION
The Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) component of the Operational Weather Forecast System of NCMRWF has been developed and implemented by the scientists of RESEARCH DIVISION. In addition, the scientists are engaged in carrying out research on the following frontier areas of meteorology. Major research activities include the improvement of the Operational Weather Forecast System of NCMRWF to produce improved quality weather forecasts.
